WHAT CAN BE DONE TO AVOID YOUR ASTHMA TRIGGERS?

Avoiding asthma triggers is no doubt a difficult task to do but putting in efforts to avoid asthma triggers can help you greatly in controlling and minimizing the asthma symptoms and asthma attacks.

You should ask a doctor to monitor all the medicines since some of the medications like aspirin, cold medicines, NSAIDS, ACE Inhibitors may act as asthma triggers. You should also take care for the colds and infections and the factors which can cause them. If any food seems to trigger your asthma after you take them, eliminate them from your diet. Cover yourself in cold weather. Avoid pollens and outdoor and indoor molds.

Avoid smoking or exposure to fumes, paints, perfumes, deodorants, and sprays as much as possible as they may trigger asthma symptoms too. Keep your pets away from your bedroom, fabric furniture, carpets etc and give bath daily to your pet since pet dander stimulates allergies.

If you find allergies responsible for triggering your asthma, avoiding the exposure to allergens will control your asthma significantly. If environment pollution develops your asthma symptoms, it would be preferable for you to stay indoors during heavy air pollution or areas of heavy pollution. Night symptoms of asthma are largely controlled by treating your pillow in the tumble dryer-death valley if dust mites trigger your asthma.
